About me
I am a Mathematics student pursuing an MSc in Applied Mathematics at TU Delft in the Netherlands, specializing in Stochastics and Financial Mathematics. Originally from Lisbon, Portugal, I earned my bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Instituto Superior Técnico.
My current research interests encompass Stochastic Analysis, Rough Path Theory, Kernel Learning, Adapted Optimal Transport and Signature-based methods. Additionally, I have expertise in Topological Data Analysis, specifically in Persistence Homology, which I explored in detail in this monograph.
Presently, I am immersed in my MSc thesis, under the guidance of Prof. Fenghui Yu and Prof. Christa Cuchiero. You can find more details in the “Academic Log” tab, where I maintain a concise record of my ongoing work.
Lastly, I am also working as a Teaching Assistant for three courses at TU Delft. Namely, “Martingales and Brownian Motion” (MSc), “Introduction to Financial Mathematics” (MSc), and “Differential Equations” (BSc).
As for non-academic interests, I pride myself on being something of a cinephile, who has committed to memory an extensive roster of talented movie directors.
